The Holdovers 2023
I haven’t been so moved by a film since Aftersun. The story captures loneliness and human pain so realistically. You literally feel the warmth growing between the characters. Absolutely beautiful and the right amount of sentimental.

Underworld: Evolution 2006
The vampire lore is ramped up from the first movie and there’s a mega action scene upgrade here with kink-lord Marcus as the obvious mvp. Some absolutely iconic moments of him pinning the other vampires to walls and tables with his sticky bat shoulders. It’s a shame the actual sex scenes in the movie are so vanilla compared to this. Also Tony Curran really does it for me with that ginger ponytail and leather coat over bare chest. Top shagger.…
