As a stand-alone movie I could imagine this being quite lacking for some people, but as an extended cutscene for where this would appear within the game of FFXV it’s basically 2 hours of supplementary cutscene and does an outstanding job as that. Despite there still being some uncanny vally-ness present it’s still a very visually impressive and stunning movie overall. As a part of the complete picture of FFXV I think it does an amazing job and for me that makes it a 5 star experience.
