With this movie Lynch changed cinema forever. It’s the birth, literally, of neo surrealism and the fantastic Lynchian world. Such a “simple” movie, such emotion. The greatest director ever, no one explores the human mind and the dark alleys most don’t dare to speak about like Lynch. Forever alive in his works of art.

Sharp Objects 2018
Fantastic opening to a series. Slow burning plot set in an out of date small town in southern USA. The whole setting and pace of the episode creates an eerie felling that has you glued to the screen holding your breath, because you know something horrible is going to unfold. If you like season one of True Detective give this series a go.
