I think there was a part of Nyles that intended for Sarah to follow him into the cave and get stuck in the loop with him. Sort of like what happened in Passengers (2016).
I didn’t like it much when they started dwelling in the scientific/technical side of the time loop. But overall, it was an enjoyable film.
