I actually really enjoyed this. Firstly, the setting was a great choice, it allowed for the scales to feel even more against the protagonist than had it been set in present day. I was able to invest strongly in the protagonist as she relied on clever ingenuity rather than brute strength to overcome the Predator.

I liked it but I didn't love it. Maybe it is because I have watched Alien after some of the other films in the franchise first, however, I didn't go crazy for this. It did do a lot of things well.
