Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 2007
pretty dark but funny, not too scary. literally rooted for sweeney the whole time. sondheim’s music obviously was amazing but singing was just alright. acting very good all around! johnny depp’s sweeney is a very sympathetic character, who is practically already dead when the film starts. interesting to see a character driven solely by his need for vengeance, being blinded to anything else. could barely see anything though with those damn filters used on the whole film!!
