Love Song for Tough Guys 2021
I'm puzzled by this one. It felt quite weird and slow at the start, a bit experimental perhaps. Yet, when the plot slowly ramped up - both in speed and in coming together - I felt moved and honestly suprised by the characters development. Most of this was caused by the acting of the daughter, she was so convincing with so little time and dialogue and yet it really sold her as a character.
In short, something a bit off-beat and weird yet still not estranging and definetly touching.
