Down by Law 1986
This movie sparked for me the question "Who thought of all this and created this world I visited for 2 hours?!" So I learned about director Jim Jarmusch and then Herzog and Scorcese and . . . well, that's a different story. Down By Law was unlike any other movie I had ever seen, in many ways still is. If you've never seen it, at least watch the I scream You scream jail scene. Oh and the campfire scene...and the dance scene...oh and the closing...

Not a flawless movie but I still love this grimey layered mess by beloved director Sam Peckinpah.
The SCORE AND SOUNDTRACK, though, by Bob Dylan desrves 5 Stars for sure My all time favorite soundtrack -- Dylan is in the movie, too, fun extended cameo. Kris Kristofferson does great, too, his best acting IMO. Worth watching, a must for fans of:
