  This is a bit of tired franchise but Adil & Bilall keep it alive with their experimental filmmaking.

  The plot was quite daft which reduced Lawrence’s performance to a chaotic joke (though he did carry most of the comedic moments).

  After 30 years, maybe it’s time to let Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett retire…

  This was bloody batshit but in the best way.

  I wish I’d watched this one in the cinema because the colours and editing were unreal.

  One of those movies where you watch with your hands covering your eyes but keep peeking through cause it’s too crazy to not watch.

  Talk about an authentic adaption that ticks all the boxes.

  You don’t have to be a Nintendo nerd to appreciate this film but the number of Easter eggs and call-outs to the Super Mario franchise was a feast for the eyes.

  Yes, the plot is a bit thin, but who cares when it brings Mario Kart and Donkey Kong to life in such a colourful way!
