Just amazing…
…the way how it was played…
…how much can it tell…
…with simplicity.
A year before the premiere, Universal released a one-minute promo for the film on YouTube. It included a timer, imitating timers for explosives, which counted down the exact time until the anniversary of the first nuclear test in history on 16/07/1945 in New Mexico, in which Robert Oppenheimer also participated.
The world premiere of the film was set for 21/07/2023, the following week after this anniversary.

Basically a 5 stars experience, it's a riveting,
visually stunning, imaginative, fun ride with
the fabulous Robbie and the even more fabulous
Gosling. It's a joy to see an expensive film that is
simply in every way out of the uniform gray that blockbuster Hollywood usually offers today.
But the script's with sometimes annoyingly literal
feminist cannonade in the final third, when it feels
like the creators wanted every argument they can
think of to be heard out loud.
So 4,5.
Watching it at Lumière cinema in Bratislava was such a wonderful experience itself.

The top: camera, film music!
