Underrated "find the missing person" film with some demonic twists.
I don't know that there is anything special here, but it was enjoyable. Not sure how the ending was allowed considering the Production Code, but don't want to put in a spoiler so cannot be specific.
A couple of quirks worth noting:
--Hollywood generally doesn't examine nihilism and when it does, it usually does not do it well. This film is an exception.

Such a disappointing movie. A pretty much run of the mill monster plot that’s far too long for no real payoff. The chemistry between Muldet and Scully is great, but the movie itself is a bore. It would have been a lame episode if it were part of the series. As a movie it just meanders and dies.

Watching a movie that is almost 60 years old can sometimes feel anachronistic. Even some of the greats can feel dated in places. But 12 ANGRY MEN is perhaps as relevant now as it was in 1957.
