Having thoroughly enjoyed the first two Ant-Men, I had high hopes for Quantumania. What a colossal disappointment. Ant-Man's success had previously relied on clever staging, a compelling balance of superpowered and normal people, and excellent writing. Quantumania failed on all three counts. Captain Marvel should have been so much better. Look, no matter what, an army of angry men would have hated on the movie just because of its natural position as a feminist statement.
