This was so spooky and beautifully executed. The cinematography was gorgeous. Nicolas Cage was terrifying and disturbing. Very enjoyable horror movie experience!

This film was so fun to watch. There were a few idiosyncrasies with tone, and I think side effects of actors not being able to visualize what was happening with the CGI, but otherwise great. The monster design was so weird and cool. Definitely the main reason I’ve been recommending the film to people. A few really interesting shots that really helped build suspense. I wish it had less of a shaky cam feel, although it did aid in not revealing the monsters until fairly late in the movie.

Perhaps the bloodiest film I’ve ever seen. This film is held together by some great performances by Nic Cage, Nic Hoult, and Ben Schwartz. Some overly hokey moments bring it down a little bit, but overall a fun film.

This film at times made me laugh out loud and at other times made me sick to my stomach. A brilliant allegory for civil war, beautifully acted. Martin McDonagh continues to knock it out of the park in this strange film.
