  Now, onto the second Venom movie. It was really exciting to finally see Carnage on the big screen, and Woody Harrelson does an amazing job as Cletus Kasady. But honestly, that's about where the praise ends. The movie feels like it lost its way, with a tone that leans too much into romantic comedy territory.   From my childhood, I’ve always liked Venom and the idea of two clashing minds in one body. For the most part, this movie does justice to Venom, in my opinion. The CGI is great overall, the acting is decent, and the action sequences really showcase Venom as we know him. The film finally gives us the big, burly version of Venom that I’ve always adored.
