I already expected it to be a compelling story and beautifully shot, which it was. What really blew me away though was the score - incredible variety of sounds (orchestral, 50s, electronic) and moods which elevated the whole thing massively.
Runtime was fine and intermission worked for me personally
Not as bad as I thought it would be. But the best stuff throughout was the stuff that was (literally) copied and pasted from the first film. Which probably means they didn’t need to make this
Utterly incredible spectacle. The kind of film where you struggle to believe anyone couldn’t be blown away. Does borrow heavily from the LOTR playbook of having loads of famous & good looking actors taking up a lot of screen time staring at eachother… But even at 2h45m it didn’t feel like it dragged.
