  I had forgotten how impressive Nicole Kidman's acting was in this one. How beautiful is the photography and the color grading, and how gloomy all the darkness feels. Cheesy soundtrack, but impeccable atmosphere and pace.

  The plot twists are unmatched and the story is strangely beautiful. A gothic classic.
