  A World Without Women (2011) is a piece taken from Rohmer's films, recycled, adapted and then recreated in a surprisingly pleasant way.
  Two women, mother and daughter (Patricia and Juliette) go on vacation, where they rent the studio of a man named Sylvain, with whom they become friends. But when a second man appears, certain everyday events are triggered, in a bitter-funny way.

  Watching this movie, I couldn't help but remember the charm of the protagonist from "La collectionneuse" (1967), which Eliane seems to take over, or the capricious Betty, from "Betty Blue" (1986), who fits perfectly into this typology, so well represented here too by Isabelle Adjani. Her performence is truly touching and catchy as well.
