moral of the story: listen to women.
(i remember seeing a video of someone saying that during the entire film, the men continuously disregard the women and how both ripley & lambert are set up in the back of certain shots – that completely changed my perspective in this film and made me love it even more!!! it’s gross, scary, suspenseful and perfect in the unexpected message it delivers [whether it was intended or not]: bodily autonomy and capitalism.)
