Watched the director's cut and to be fair 204 minutes is simply the perfect length for half a movie

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
I've been holding off watching this because I expected it to have aged terribly since its release. How wrong was I.
To this day The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is still more visually and viscerally daring than most modern horror films. The perverse and morbid imagery holds up to these post-torture-porn times, and that fever dream of a finale from the family dinner right up to the end credits is such an intense and memorable sequence of horrific events. Haven't been this pleasantly surprised in a while.
