Whimsical, fun, and an unexpected look into human development and morality. If you suddenly became a blank slate, do you think you would grow into the same person you are now? Would you become completely different due to the changed environment? A bit of both?

Fantastic performance by the cast. Emma Stone really shows off her diverse talent and Mark Ruffalo is a barrel of laughs.

The imagery is gorgeous with colors and objects pulled straight from a dream as…

First time I ever saw a puking motif in action.

It’s really difficult to describe this movie without giving it all away, but I’ll just say I had a lot of “Aha!” and pointing at the screen moments.

As for the rumors about the disturbing “bathtub scene,”  just scroll through AO3 for a few hours and you’ll be fine.

I’m not a monster movie guy and I’ll be honest, this was my first Godzilla movie, but Minus One lives up to all the hype. There was no big rush to jump from action sequence to action sequence so I had time to form an attachment to the characters, whose performers all did a phenomenal job in their roles.

Unrelated, it was also my first 4d movie experience. Literally a wild ride.

A brilliant amalgamation of everything I’ve ever been afraid of. When I saw it, there was only one other person in the theater. We, though complete strangers, became comrades through our shared gasps, laughter, and simultaneous pointing at the absurdity occurring on screen. I hate talking to people, but we couldn’t help but blabber to each other about the film as we walked down the hall to our cars, never to see each one another again.

So yeah, it’s a film that gets shy introverts to talk to each other. Highly recommend.
