On the Silver Globe skirted any and all expectations by a country mile. Great triumph for art over its censorial authority. Those first-person narrated cuts are super effective on both the allegorical and political levels however much they may jar the overall flow.
First Żuławski experience and what struck me the most, even more than those wonderful costumes and unique camerawork, was of course the dialogue. I love how unapologetically first-year humanities undergrad it is 👏 looking forward to Possession!
