  I know people think this film may be exploitative because one of the athletes is not there to defend themselves, however, as a retired athlete myself I think it accurately represented the mental health struggles that athletes go through and how their entire life can change when sports are taken away. Also shows how living without family and friends, and not speaking the language, can really destroy a person’s ability to cope.
