Sing Sing 2023
Just wow honestly. An insanely touching movie that speaks on the search for humanity in a place that only seeks to rip it away from you. It touches on the “act” of masculinity and its detriments on the male psyche while showing the resilience of these men in this program. It made me think about my own vulnerability and how difficult our culture we built for ourselves makes it to implement it in our own lives. Also, the performances from the men who were literally in the program were breath taking. Absolutely loved this film.
