  On a Christmas movie binge andddd yikes. This one was rough.

  So many people call this their favorite Christmas movie, so I feel bad giving it such a low score.
  
  Am I a scrooge? Do I just dislike classic Christmas movies? Am I missing something?

  I never saw this movie until now, so I’m quite relieved that this movie never had any part in my childhood. I would be so bummed to have nostalgia for this.

  A powerful story about true family and community.

  The juxtaposition between two scenes, one at the very beginning and one at the end, completely make this movie for me.
