I'll be honest, when I first tried watching this movie, I couldn’t get past the beginning. Nothing really grabbed me, and I almost gave up. But after giving it a second chance, I’m glad I did. This is a fantastic sci-fi film that tackles themes of classism and inequality with depth and nuance. It’s fun, brutal, original, action packed, and absolutely mesmerizing. The cast delivers standout performances, perfectly conveying the film's social commentary. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but the storytelling and direction, especially from Bong Joon-ho, made it a truly compelling experience. What's not to love?

This film is a perfect example of a sequel that wasn’t needed. While visually stunning with some striking shots and solid performances, the story ultimately falls flat, barely reaching the level of decent. Even the musical aspect failed to capture my attention and I love them, leaving the entire experience feeling like a slog. The only redeeming qualities were the cinematography, the cast, and the fact that I wasn’t watching alone, otherwise, I would’ve had more fun taking a nap. Unfortunately, this sequel completely undermines the magic of the original film for me.
