They Fought for Their Motherland 1975
Pretty good war film all things considered, just at a glance the uniforms and gears are all top notch. It does a good job at giving you a much more on the ground observation of what it was like to serve in the Red Army. Furthermore the movie can be quite funny at times, like when one of the men comments he can't remember what his wife's armpits smell like??? However just as there's humor, you get some real human scenes. The ending shot and line made me want to get a rifle and march on Berlin.
