Jason's whole concept, that of a person who murders those who engage in premarital sex, really shines through in a future setting. It was archaic even in his debut, and in the future, he is a relic of values past. He is a hulking, terrifying figure, but there is more to this: that the monsters of our past, that of our old closed-mindedness can still come back to haunt us.
