  Fun as hell and wearing its influences proudly on its sleeve, this film is a great one for just chilling out and laughing with your friends.

  Hunter Schafer with a butterfly knife, yes. This must be acknowledged. She was great.

  Otherwise, CUCKOO feels like a film that is struggling to find direction and is too scared to lean into the “creature-feature” category. Give me something that isn’t just “kinda weird looking lady”.
