"Tracy Samantha...tracyyweeeee..."everyone is perfectly cast and I love it. I've heard about original ideas for the other points of the love rectangle (spencer tracy, Clark gable, etc) but cary grant and Jimmy Stewart (in conjunction with hepburn) made the movie. cary brings a sort of dry humor to everything. he is not overtly cackling at his snarky remarks, just a small chuckle and a glance to hepburn.
also, if you are a gilmore girls fan, they play the "proposal" scene on the hospital tv when April gets her appendix out (7.8)
