Modern man rues not for what is desired but desire itself. Sight without vision, touch without feeling. Ultimately, if something cannot be found but is sought, that may be where what we seek lies. Prevaricated by barriers in language and intent, criminal or otherwise, the desire and love between the two leads, Song so-rae and Jang Jae-Hoon, is preserved. In times marked by bareness, the cost of the real may lie in conceding that it cannot be envinced. It is heartbreaking. But consolation is to be had knowing that where one ends, another can begin.
