Okay… I see you Robert De Niro…. But perhaps one of the best parts of this movie is that after the first 15 minutes you forget that he is actually playing both of the lead roles. This film certainly has a lot packed into two hours, and quite frankly does the docu-drama style a heck of a lot better than The Bikeriders did (and I am a fan of that film too). With solid performances (and not just De Niro’s),…

A beautiful love story with solid performances, really good cinematography, and a beautiful score. Definitely worth the watch! However, it does leaves me with a few unanswered questions that I wish had been answered. But a part from that, the wonderful performances by Christopher Reed, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plumber really help bring this sci-fi to life.

Probably a bit too convoluted for its own good. This bloodbath of a movie quite frankly lacks character development, clear structure, and memorable moments. However, I guess all is well that ends well. But still, I wanted more from Liam Neeson and quite frankly expected more from Guy Pierce.

Wow. I was not expecting this film to be so raw and emotional as it was. This film perfectly captures the relationship between siblings (yes, I know they are technically cousins). The dialogue just felt so real and rubbed my heart raw. I know the amount of profanity will probably turn some people away, but this one hits different on a whole new level. Had me in tears by the end of it.

My only complaint is it does seem to drag in a few places.

With all that said… this is a great film and perfectly delivers its deep and profound message!
