Yeah it was decent, pretty average but a fun watch. Quite liked the guy who played his kid. He was decent fun. The sex scenes went on for way too long it felt lowkey Pervy. Also vigo did a good job acting the change

Probably would’ve really enjoyed this if I was less tired and watched less tiktok. Attention span has definitely made old films harder to watch. Still appreciated it but stuff like the leg at the end had less impact considering I can open Instagram reels and see a car crash without even looking.

Scent of a Woman 1992
I just love films like this, it fits with dead poets society and good will hunting great and this style and storyline works well with me. However, I wanted slightly more build and it occasionally felt like it wasn’t 100% sure where it was going. Good performances all round I just wanted more drama throughout, not just at the end (very good ending though). Still a great film but just preferred some others

Dune: Part Two 2024
Kinda just felt like someone trying to make a film that’s only plot was the word ‘epic’. Was fine and had some cool spectacle moments but also I wasn’t very invested at all and the ‘epic ness’ wore off. Very similar vibe to mad max except not as cool and more artsy. It was fun but would like more access to the characters lives.
