Maybe, I shouldn’t have watched this on the plane. But I think I would have turned it off if I had watched it at home.

Let’s talk about the good things first. The setting? The music? Pretty great. Ridley Scott really did a good job orchestrating a dystopian future. And the synth music added to the mysterious persona the movie was going for.

But I mean, what the hell was that plot? “Hey you’re a dude that supposed…

2nd half was way better. Can Channing Tatum at least try to act better?

The build up of the story was really boring. A lot of the character development was surface level with some hinting at deeper meaning they get to in the last 15 minutes of the movie. I think this movie just became one of my top 4s.

This movie talks about the ambition of power compared to the humility of faith. Ralph Fiennes gave a spectacular monologue at the beginning of the movie about The Sins of Certainty, that really set the tone for the rest of the film.

The soundtrack was fantastic. You truly get to experience the power a good soundtrack can offer to a film with the tone of a scene.…

Love this movie! The lore development is done so well and I love the mystery on mystery that are built as we explore more of the complications of the wizarding world. But, why does it end in an endless applause that’s kind of out of nowhere? Like, I know we all love Hagrid, but suddenly everyone is applauding the guy for……getting out of prison for an incorrect sentencing? And that’s an example of some awkward development in the film.

I can’t wait for the Prisoner of Azkaban!
