  The fight scenes are great, and most of the visuals are a step up. For episode one, I would’ve felt like it dragged if it was less engaging, and this movie was a good example of that. Could’ve been better overall, but not terrible

  The movie was a lot of hurry up and wait, which is a good commentary but didn’t feel awesome as a film. Godzilla looked fucking nuts, and I really appreciate how freakish they made him. Not as immediately destructive as Minus One, but sustained damage was enough that I’m happy with how much of a threat he is.
