4 stars because I refuse to believe all this happened in a day with LA traffic. But who knows maybe it was different back then. Anyways I can’t wait to dress up as Alonzo for Halloween in a few weeks and ask everybody if they wanna go home or go to jail. W movie.

Being a lawyer is hard and really tests your morals huh. Anyways this is Jim Carrey being Jim Carrey and I don’t even think he had a script for this movie. I think the director was just like, “Hey, just go out there and do what you do.” And I think when you see other actors laughing they’re genuinely breaking character. It’s a fun watch but I don’t think the ending was that great. Poor Jerry deserved better.

I had “Anyone but You” as the worst romance movie ever. I can’t believe another film beat it. There’s absolutely no way you mistake an entire trailer for a public bathroom. Also what happened to the trope of wooing the girl with charisma or humor. This guy just showed up, bought her entire art gallery, and then she accepted a date with him? I think homeboy asking her out at her birthday party was robbed. It feels like good romance films are so hard to find nowadays. Finding out it’s based on a Harry Styles fanfic makes so much sense after watching it.
