  Feels like Eastwood took a step back in this one from his usual stellar portrayals of anti-hero’s. Still a decent watch. Sorta reminded me of Escape from New York for some reason.

  true to its title I’ve learned nothing new about bob dylan - the fashion and music was an obvious highlight, and seeing johnny cash play a small part in dylan’s story was super cool. a lot of similarities between chalamet’s and phoenix’s performance in walk the line. both very broody men at the end of the day.
