  The CGI was exactly what you would expect from Avatar's sequel, phenomenal. Sadly it reached that point in just a few scenes and the disparity between the start and end of the movie was the most noticeable I've seen in a film.

  The 48fps scenes (which was close to 40% of the movie) were actually pretty nice. I saw it in 3D which brought the overall visuals and the impact of the higher framerate down, so I'll have to go…

  After watching this movie I spent 30 minutes just thinking about the enormous influence it has had on other sci-fi movies and how it kickstarted the genre in cinema. Magnificent sets, great acting and the soundtrack in the restored version make this movie a must-watch for anyone interested in the history of film.
