  Sweet and overall well done.  The story is cliched and the acting is just okay. But the movie hits all the right beats and the autistic actors really shine. Overall a good light hearted movie best enjoyed on a lazy afternoon or while on a plane.

  Tense, dark and lean. This movie is a near perfect exercise in plot, tone, and pacing intersecting.  The isn’t a single moment of fat in this two and a half hour movie.

  The acting is top notch and the cast is filled with exceptional performances. Jake Gyllenhal is particular is a standout for just the depth of characterization that he brings to what could otherwise have been a fairly stock character role.

  A nearly impossible movie to make under the circumstances. Some great and fun scenes. Acting is great throughout. There’s some issues with pacing and a few too many sub plots that don’t add to the narrative or don’t pay off well. Overall very watchable.
