Outstanding, honestly a masterpiece. Just perfectly does what it sets out to do.  The music is phenomenal throughout.

“You think you can drive a car and save the world? It doesn’t work like that.”

“Maybe not. But it’s the only thing I know how to do and I gotta do something”

Among other things, this is a movie about art under capitalism. I sometimes wonder if art can save the world; films like this give me hope. It’s almost uncanny…

I think I need time to process this. Felt a lot longer than 59 minutes (in a good way).

Feels like a magic trick how much emotion and authenticity is in less than an hour.

I’m not sure how I feel about the “twist” (for lack of a better word without spoiling it). I think the absurdity was the point, but it felt like a little too much?

Regardless, lovingly crafted, excellent music, and a central relationship that makes you reflect on the beauty of the few truly special connections and moments you can be lucky enough to have in your life.

Still kind of amazing this movie was made. So happy I got to see it in IMAX. A lot that I missed on the first watch pops out on the giant screen

The music is incredible. The film is an excellent blend of action and personal storytelling.

There’s no better way to describe how I’ve been feeling than Everything Everywhere All at Once and a film I needed to see again

Unrelated: when I got let in the theater I was given a notebook and told not to ask why, I have no idea why this happened but fit the film well.

Hard to separate the implicit politics from the film, honestly very alarming. I don’t know what the aim of the director was, but reads as a “has ‘me too’ gone too far?” pretty anti-woman film.

Stylistically effective, but often excessive. Twist is obvious it’s a question of “how”, not what and the answer isn’t very satisfying. Final act stretched on for far too long.

I can’t say there weren’t parts I enjoyed, but again the context renders it hard to feel good about any of it.
