  Okay I really enjoyed this weird little movie. I wish I hadn’t even seen the trailer so I went in even more blind. 
  It got a little slow and tedious in the middle, but I think that was intentional and kinda the point. 
  This movie won’t be for everyone but I enjoyed the blend of mystery, dark humor, sci-fi, and horror, as well as the strong performances.

  Sudden Fear 1952

  Finally starting my long overdue Joan Crawford journey and Sudden Fear is my first stop (thanks to Tubi, who I finally realized carries so many classics I’ve wanted to watch).
  I went in not knowing much at all and found myself very satisfied in the ending. Joan has very limited dialogue in the second half of the film but carries it with showing her paranoia and fear physically.

  I love genre-bending films but in this case I wish it would have more confidently picked a genre. Like going full absurdist comedy even more might have been better. Or more of a psychological horror/thriller. Pick either and the direction could have been more thrilling. Great performances but was a little disappointed in the tone.
