    A French crime thriller that is D.O.A. despite a cast that includes Alain Delon, Jean Gabin and a young Gerard Depardieu.

    A stiff, awkward and totally lifeless film, I've never seen a more bored-looking Jean Gabin. I can imagine him wishing that he was at home playing with his grandkids instead of appearing in this.

    A film with a non-existent script that is stitched together with nothing but 'moments' of the most clumsily sledgehammered shameless pieces of dumb audience manipulation, the likes of which I haven't seen since the days of early-Spielberg.

    Peele has obviously seen CLOSE ENCOUNTERS a few too many times, but even Spielberg would be embarrassed by this one!!
