  Joker is the first time we have seen the flip side of the cinematic spectacle of the Batman Marvel franchise, which has historically highlighted the virtuous of the Bourgeoisie superhero. The Batman story goes; Bruce Wayne and his multi millionaire parents are leaving a cinema before scurrying down a dark back ally to avoid violent demonstrators, as they hurry down the ally they are stopped by a criminal figure with a gun and Bruce’s parents are murdered in cold blood…

  In all fairness it's the most impressive display of flying samurai that I've witnessed in real life or on screen what's the difference anyway? unfortunately CTHD falls prey to the beast of abundance in all its economic glory. In a similar way to Kurosawas epic, Ran CTHD grapples with charecter developement and with the stories motivations through over production. It flicks between past and present without much relevancy before slipping haphazardly, between mundane discourse about duty and desire consistently intermingled…
