About Time 2013
It’s pure love, showcasing growth as not many films can. Using fiction it creates one of the realist feelings I have ever gotten from cinema. The whole feel to it is so heart warming even if it has so much pain within it, just like life itself. Love it even if it can seem cheesy, but we need some cheesiness in our lives, more than what we think of. Always brings a tear to my eye, maybe that’s why I always rewatch it once a year haha

Boyhood 2014
Flawless. Richard Linklater knows how to make real stories with real characters and this one is the culmination of his art. The way it was shot shows how dedicated he is to his craft, and thanks to it, it has inspired many people just like myself. Also, Ethan Hawke’s and Patricia Arquette’s performance have to be one of my all-time favourites.
