The Hunt 2012
If I could throw more than 5 stars at this I would.
Mads Mikkelsen is a fine actor, one of the very best. You've never seen a film quite like it.
An innocent lie from an infant shatters a man's life, in which the families and a whole community are raging against him. Truly terrifying and a must watch.Translated from by -
Dune 2021
Excellent movie. Clearly it depends on how successful the film is at the box office and digital sales if there will be sequels or not.
So far from what I've seen it translates the book beautifully; it looks incredible and it's how you imagined Arrakis etc. to be.
Denis Villeneuve should be commended for his effort.
However, I feel because of its slow pacing the book would be much better served as a TV epic showcase in the vein of Game of Thrones. The Dune book series deserve a 6-8 season run by HBO - we live in hope.Translated from by

Porky's 1981
This film inspired all the American Pie type movies. I recall watching this for the first time on the neighbour's VHS (rented from the boot of an old Ford Cortina of course) as a 9-year-old with friends being, shall we say, 'a little over-excited' haha - good times never forgotten!
