This is probably worth a rewatch as the ending not only provides a ton more context, but it also made the entire plot much more compelling than "the creepiest guy ever stalks a celebrity".
I also wish there were more modern stories like this (not you, Black Swan) because there's just no way they could have predicted what parasocial relationships have become. You could make an entire movie about CHAM entering their "flop era" after Mima left

Bamboozled 2000
A little rough around the edges and the Mau Maus lead to some of the more bizarre narrative choices, but otherwise there's so much commentary here that is absolutely spot on, and in many ways (unfortunately) hasn't aged a day. Action-comedy-romance is a nightmare of a genre combo but Game Night pulled it off better than it frankly had any right to. Great amount of legitimately funny moments, a story that doesn't pull out *every* trope, and some actually nice cinematography?? Whoever thought to include the various tilt shift shots is a genius seriously
