Timothee Chalamet is great. Like that it isn’t getting stuck in debates around factual accuracy. Does sacrifice depth for breadth though. Lots of stuff to cover in the time, so often glazes over complex things.

Marathon Man 1976
Enjoyed it don’t get me wrong, but I think it wants to be more than it is. A bit more subtly would do this some good. Very well shot and put together, but when you take a step back the story is pretty terribly constructed. You sit through half an hour of compelling and visually interesting stuff that doesn’t develop anything, then you suddenly in two minutes get loads of information dumped on you in a very lazy manner. Sounds very critical, but still a decent film.
