  Great story from low to high. Stallone also looks the most fit in this film. Not as good as the first two films as he is no longer an impoverished underdog. But still great classic comeback, pretty good.

  Great playoff of the first film. They somehow manage to keep Rocky seeming as an impoverished underdog which is amazing. After Adrian is convinced to let him fight again the montage goes so hard and he is the underdog that all of Philly is behind. All the kids running with him then he takes off. Just perfect. And oh yeah he actually wins.

  Great come up story and fight montage.

  
  Also just the concept is amazing. And the parallel between Stallone actually writing this and pitching it and insisting he acts in it, turning down deals, really coming from the come up, just like his character. The concept is so well written, an underdog fighter that captures the hearts of Philadelphia. Stallone went on to star in other multi million dollar film series, he truly is the epitome of an underdog success story. Pulling himself from the boot straps. What’s not to love.
