Voyeuristic. I felt like i was in a cuck chair for the whole runtime. It is concerning how many people can relate to this. The entire movie I was grasping at straws to find deeper meaning and symbolism but it never tied together until the very end. The overarching point of the film seems to be capturing youth, hormones and fleeting relationships but it is littered with unnecessary sex.

Masterpiece. Makes me ashamed that I don’t have words to articulate everything I felt about this movie. Each character were very obvious representations of the different kinds of relationships:
the situationship, suspended in limerence. A man who surrenders his agency and ability to think for himself leaves a breadcrumb trail for a woman that searches through trash to find connection. Both are contracted together by inflicting pain. Both are in a “business arrangement” where every element is made purposefully vague.…

I wish they delved deeper into Mizu’s inner emotions- her drive for revenge- it felt at times deep enough for the audience to understand why she embarks on this quest but shallow enough for us to find it hard to fully empathise.
