  Thoroughly enjoyed the novel setting and premise, and I’m a sucker for dramatic coloured lighting. There were a few really good creepy moments that genuinely made my skin crawl. 

  It also reminded me a bit of Saint Maud, another recent banger of a directorial debut.

  Achingly dull. I’m usually all for a slow burner where not a whole lot “happens” but no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t latch on and kept finding myself hoping that the credits would roll soon. It made Lamb feel like an entry into the Fast and Furious franchise. 

  It’s a pretty and well shot movie but the only way you could get me to watch it again is if they released a cut that was just scenes of Bradley Cooper being weird for 30 mins. 

  The weird and twee age inappropriate relationship certainly didn’t help.
