  This is the Refn at his pick in writing, just amazingly detailed and constructed story.

  The Tony is such a jerk, but still, I can sympathize him a lot. This dissonance makes you question everything and everyone while watching. The visuals, the actors, the music. Everything is top-notch. I wish to see more stories like this from Refn, even being his big fan, I can clearly see that he's focusing on visuals much more for the last 10–13 years. It is not a bad thing, I just want to see a well-crafter stories like this as well, not only well-pictured.
